Employees from EGL 1 contractor Prysmian volunteered to plant trees at the beautiful Gifford Community Woodland in East Lothian, Scotland. HGV Access – Enabling Works Update

Enabling works for Eastern Green Link 1 (EGL1) – a new two-gigawatt high voltage direct current link between East Lothian and Hawthorn Pit in County Durham – began in March 2025. The project is expected to be fully operational by 2029.
